Missouri Campaign Sign Laws: Polling Places and Right-of-Way
What Missouri state law says about campaign yard signs: On election day and during absentee voting, no posting signs inside the polling-place building or within 25 feet of its outer door closest to the polling place. Putting advertising signs "on the right-of-way of any state highway without the written permission of the commission" is a misdemeanor. Polling places
On election day and during absentee voting, no posting signs inside the polling-place building or within 25 feet of its outer door closest to the polling place. Since a 2026 law (HB 1871), a local election authority can extend that to 50 feet by posting notice six weeks ahead; St. Louis has done so for November 3, 2026. Check your county's notice.

Taking signs down?

FlyerFly is an app for putting out yard signs and door hangers with your own crew. When your team puts out a sign, the app saves a GPS pin, a photo and the time, so you can see where every sign you placed is. While a job runs, your crew member's dot moves on your map with a Live badge, and a GPS trail shows where they went. It does not check whether a spot is legal, so use the rules above. It's nonpartisan and works the same for any campaign.
