Door Hanger Tracking Apps, Compared

We make FlyerFly, so read this knowing that. Every other app's price and features below come from its own website, linked, checked October 27, 2026.

The short answer

If you send your own crew out with door hangers or yard signs and want to see which homes they reached without slowing them down, use an app built for distribution: FlyerFly, RouteReach or FlyerTrack. If your reps knock and pitch at every door, a sales app like SalesRabbit or SPOTIO fits better. If you need one photo as proof of one job, CompanyCam or Solocator.

How to choose

Distribution or sales?

Sales apps are built around a conversation at the door: knock, pitch, set a status. If your crew leaves a hanger and walks on, every status they have to set is time on the route.

What does the worker do at each door?

A photo at every door is strong proof for that door and slow for the route. A few seconds at each of 300 homes adds 15 to 30 minutes. A tap is quicker. Automatic GPS check-off adds nothing, but it shows the worker reached the house, not a picture of the hanger.

Per user, or flat?

Per-user pricing adds up fast with a seasonal crew. Check for user minimums and contracts before you count the monthly price.

Your people, or theirs?

Most of these apps track a crew you already have. FlyerFly also gives you a recruit link to bring someone on. None of them, FlyerFly included, supply workers or print your hangers.

Where FlyerFly falls short

  • The worker app is on iPhone through TestFlight for now; the App Store and Google Play versions are coming soon. The business side runs on the web.
  • GPS check-off shows a worker reached a house, not a photo of the hanger on the handle. Proof photos come at the times you set, not at every door.
  • FlyerFly is for putting things out. It isn't a sales CRM for logging conversations at the door.

Questions people ask

What is the best app to track door hanger distribution?

For a business sending its own crew out with door hangers, an app built for distribution fits best. FlyerFly is free, checks off each home by GPS as the worker walks up to it with no photo at every door, shows their path live, and handles yard signs too. RouteReach and FlyerTrack are also built for distribution. SalesRabbit and SPOTIO are built for door-to-door sales.

Is there a free door hanger tracking app?

Yes. FlyerFly is free with no paid tier. RouteReach says it is free with unlimited team members, and FlyerTrack and FlyerBuddy have free plans with limits (3 carriers and 1 worker).

Which door hanger apps don't need a photo at every door?

FlyerFly checks off each home by GPS as the worker walks up to it. FlyerTrack records the route in the background and makes tapping each drop optional. RouteReach says placements are logged automatically. FlyerBuddy asks for a photo at each door.

FlyerFly vs SalesRabbit: which should I use?

SalesRabbit is door-to-door sales software, $59 per user a month on its Team plan with a 3-user minimum, where reps set a status on each door. FlyerFly is free and built for putting out door hangers and yard signs: homes are checked off by GPS and you watch the route live.

FlyerFly vs FlyerBuddy: what's the difference?

FlyerBuddy is built for door-to-door sales teams and records each door with a photo; it's free for 1 worker and $49 a month for up to 5. FlyerFly is free for any size crew, checks off each home by GPS without a photo at every door, and also tracks yard signs and crew pay.

Can I track yard signs and door hangers in the same app?

Yes, with FlyerFly. Each yard sign gets a GPS pin and photo, and door hanger routes get GPS home check-off, the walked path and proof photos. RouteReach also covers both.
